Targeted creation.
What I mean by that is that I created a list of all the videos I wanted to make and then researched the popularity of associated keywords and also communities that would be interested in the content that I could then promote to.
I have been creating those that I felt would get the most interest first based upon that

Also, if you want to go the extra mile, you can create a free Adwords account to make use of the Keyword Planning tool.
It can suggest keywords based upon the seed list you create using Trends and indicate what the most popular were in a more accurate way.
