700 One Minute Economics Subscribers - Another Day With 100+ Subs (Thanks Reddit!)

This is the second day with 100+ subs I've had so far as a YouTuber :)

The first one was back when I had roughly 400 subs. Back then, the 100+ subs all came from one post one a VERY popular subreddit (/r/videos, with ~11 million members).

Today, the 100+ subs came from smaller subreddits. In other words, it wasn't a "home run" situation but rather a scenario which proves that even smaller subreddits can and do send subs your way.

I have to say, Reddit has been kind to me.

A lot of YouTubers are reluctant to try Reddit on for size because they're afraid of nasty comments and what not but my experience has been great. Were there some negative comments? Sure. But for the most part, the feedback I've gotten has been positive and people have been not only civilized but downright supportive.

That's it for now, will keep you guys posted!

Congratulations! Thanks for the details about your Reddit experiences. I like it when people give some detail about how they achieved their milestones. I've had hit and miss success with Reddit. Do you post other content on Reddit besides your own to avoid being flagged as a spammer?

That's fantastic! I'm really terrible at navigating Reddit. I'm able to find a couple of discussions that are interesting, but even the commenting system is a bit of a mystery to me. It seems like a great tool to use if you are good at it, though.

Thanks :)

And regarding Reddit: nope, I'm not really active on Reddit, so the links are posted by people who are.

If you only post links to your own stuff, you'll get flagged sooner rather than later. The best approach is making sure the links are posted from strong accounts, with decent post as well as comment karma.

Thank you :)

Reddit is definitely a strong tool once you get used to it, I was reluctant to give it a try at first but at this point, it's pretty much my only promotion channel.
