My channel has been up for a little over a month and a half and has gotten 60 subs. I advertise mostly on reddit which makes it more difficult to gain subscribers, but I post on the same reddit subforums so it acts as an incognito subscriber base since the same people view my videos there. Viewer retention is getting better with each video and animations are improving. 
I currently have around 4,100 views which shows that I am growing a lot. I specialize in mainly educational videos focusing on history of the Second World War, political theory, economics, politics, philosophy, historical games, colonialism, etc. My most popular video is on the myth of Soviet numerical superiority during the Second World War. It currently has 700 views by itself.
