I'm very excited to have reached 5k subs a few days earlier than expected but my latest video hit number one on several big subreddits like Lifehacks. It's incredible how I worked liked a dog for 4 months to reach 1k subs, and now I am able to get that much in under 2 weeks even with a video that I considered a failure. There's so much ups and downs being a Youtuber, but today is one of those ups.

I'm gonna celebrate for a day, and then pretend it's my day one again as I aim for 10k. I didn't think it was possible to reach 2k subs when I first hit 1k, but it's time to prove myself wrong again.

Thanks everyone for all the support in this forum. I can still remember my day one here 8 months ago, introducing myself, saying I wanted to change the world, and today I am a little bit closer.

A HUGE congrats to you! Very inspirational to those of us who are where you recently were (I'm at 1k very recently, 2k seems a world away). Thank you also for being a great member of the community here.
