4000 subscribers in just over 8 months

I just hit 4000 subscribers. It's crazy how far I've gone in such little time. I hit 1000 in four months, then doubled to 2000 two months later, and than doubled again in another 2 months all while taking personal time off (Suffered a break-up and I did literally nothing for my channel except reply to comments).

It's funny how I would have dreamed for 4000 back when I just had 500 subs, but I'm so driven trying to chase down bigger channels in my niche that I still feel really small. But anyways, I owe a lot to the people in this forum, and hope to be in here more as I make a big push to 5000 and beyond.

Thanks. Tips?

1. Experiment with lots of ways to promote, then use your analytics and just focus on the few that works
2. Create videos that will be searched forever and will appear in other big channel's suggested video. You have to master SEO for this
3. Study your competition and make friends with them if possible. Follow the footsteps of people who already achieved what you want.
4. Do something you're passionate about and will do for free. Even with 4000 subs and 500-700 views when not uploading, I'm only making a little over a dollar a day. But I love what I do
5. Stay and learn from the people in this forum
