Well, 3 to 4 hundred went by really quick thanks to the recent change in monetization requirements - someone started a small movement to get people checking out different channels so I got about 60 subs last month.

Pretty good, not sure I am happy about trading my poultry $2 a month for it tho :/

Anyhoo, yey.

There's a channel called Christ The butcher and Friends and he decided to create a tag and all it the "small youtuber movement" it was basically just tag a bunch of channels your size and encourage your audience to check them out, I was mentioned on one or two small channels. Just a bit of fun really and a positive reaction to a lot of smaller channels waving goodbye to the monetisation.

Yeah. You've had some really good ideas with your videos. I forsee you overtaking me soon too :) Grats

(Resists the urge to do 'Disney Style' labeled dish.) Actually, I was just there and the food was really bad. Cold and overpriced. I think for nearly 100 quid for a table of three that my food shouldn't touch a microwave - and if it does it should at least be hot. But that's just me.

Unfortunately with a small channel the "Copycat" food is always going to do better.

Yeah. At least it gets some attention for the channel (and like 8 dollars once monetization returns :/) and helps to add to the core audience. I also feel like having a few videos that do well somehow makes youtube favor your channel more favorably. Saying that I don't think I am getting very many views outside of subs and almost none after the first week on my new videos. Idk if youtube has changed or if I just remember things differently. Maybe I was just better at SEO before. I almost forgot to put tags on some of my new ones. lol
