I dont know if this is good, but it seems like I've been doing if for months i didn't know youtube was this hard. I am happy all the time.
 
Yeah youtube is extremely competitive now. You have double your effort and work for a slow return. But if you are committed and your passionate, everything will fall into place and it'll come to you eventually :)
Also that seems like a good amount to me! Everyone grows at different rate
