20K subs 1 month after hitting 10K & 2 Million Views

Posting Mad!
Coucou!!
I know I say this a lot but I really wasn't expecting to hit 20K this fast but I guess it's what people call the snowball effect.

It took me 7 months to hit 10K and 8 months to hit 20K. I just can say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all your help and your amazing support in this forum, I'm so glad I found it!

My best tip is something a lot of big channels don't do: From all the love you get, give some love back to your audience. Is not that hard to <3 comments or reply to them. This is something that has given me a lot of subscribers and an awesome fanbase. You have no idea how happy you can make one person only by replying to a comment and adding a <3. A channel is NOTHING without a fanbase, go out there and answer some comments, be nice to people and ignore haters. In the end... all of this is possible thanks to the fans!

PS: I'll hit 2 Million views next week so no point of making another post, that's why I added it here ^^

Congrats! It's actually really cool that you were able to grow that quickly, so you're doing something right. Now, if only I could grow like that... XD

You can! my channel started growing when I focus on CTR and Audience retention.. I'm always keeping at least 10% of CTR and 40-50% Audience Retention

sorry to say but what is CTR? glad you are posting your updates and sharing your strategies. Most of us can learn from people like you and you definitely give people like us some encouragement!!!

been YouTube-ing for 2 months now and growth has been super slow lol. its all good though i enjoy making offroading and moto videos even if I dont grow :)

CTR stands for Click-Through-Rate, and means, correct me if I' wrong, how many people click on your video when they see it. If you're struggling with growth, I would recommend optimizing your tags and trying to make eye-catching thumbnails, if you aren't already. Another thing is the description, it can really help your video if you have your description describe the video whilst also sneaking in the keywords and search terms into the actual description, so it looks natural.

yep doing all of that already lol! but im sure it will get better over time as I come up with new ideas. mototvlogging is a very limited audience unfortunately ha ha. Anyhow, how does one work on CTR esp if you are a small youtuber? i mean i know the smaller you are the less likely you will show up on "recommended videos"

i mean been at it for 2 months so still got a lot to learn lol

Well, since CTR is based on how often your video is clicked on when it is displayed, then it won't be affected by channel size at all, because it is only based on when a user sees your video and either decides not to click it, or to click it.

I noticed YouTube was recommending old videos (like 2/3 months old video and this happened to many more) Recommending your video doesn't mean it will blow up, the reason a video will blow up is because you have good CTR and AR. In other words, you want to be prepared when YouTube recommends one on your videos, you wanna make sure that when that happens, people will like the thumbnail and click on it.

For example your thumbnails have a lot of text, is hard to click them or be interested. Look what bigger channels are doing in their thumbnails,,, get inspired and create your own concept/brand
