Has taken me just under three months.
Just under one month ago (which was two months in to my youtubing journey) I posted a milestone thread celebrating 50 subs and 2,000 views. So Ive just done in one month what it took me two months to do at the beginning...so things seem to be ramping up
slowly but surely.
I like to think Im doing alright considering my relatively small niche (gold prospecting).
And also, just a quick, or not so quick, question while I have got you here. After reaching 100 subscribers I am now eligible for a custom URL. When I go to claim it, it gives me youtube.com/c/DigginForGold and then says something along the lines of "Many others have this name. Add some numbers or letter to the end to make it unique". I have no other options. This is rather annoying as I want what they've given me but without the extra stuff. If I try to navigate to youtube.com/c/DigginForGold it says that the page/channel doesnt exist. So why cant I claim it? Is there a way I can get it? My channel name is Diggin' For Gold, so I dont want to have to add some random meaningless numbers to my URL, especially since noone else is actually using it. What gives?
Thanks
