Youtubers that smoke

It mostly depends on the character he is portraying, his age and the demographic that watches his/her videos. For example, if the character the youtuber plays is an hard-boiled Vin Diesel character, it makes sense. If your videos are mostly watched by children, it is like the worst thing possible. If you make stuff like "Every death I take a pull from the joint" (that happened for real, on a channel with a very low age demohraphic) then it is the bottom of the barrel.

I hate the fact that I am a smoker. My hubby is a smoker too. I think we have shown him smoking multiple times on our daily vlogs. I prefer NOT to smoke on camera, just because I don't want to give anyone else a reason to start. I hope we can both quit really soon. But, I don't think it's a big deal if a YouTuber wants to smoke in their videos. I guess it would totally depend on what demographic you're after...

I'm generally against smoking. At the very least not for it, but in terms of people smoking in a video, it really doesn't matter. Second-hand smoke can't be spread through speakers and monitors. If they want to smoke on their channel, by all means (unless we're talking about illegal substances, then that'd just be ridiculous).

But, I've actually stumbled upon a guy's channel, and he had a smoking channel. Before every vlog he'd light up a cig, tell you what kind it was, then talk about smoking-related topics. In a weird way, it was actually kind of interesting.

Meh.

If they want to do it that's on them. I probably won't stick around their video or channel, but I'm not gonna knock them for smoking, because that's obviously their choice. I don't really care one way or the other.

I don't smoke anymore, but I vape. And I vape on stream. Vaping is a lot different from smoking, but I still don't give a s**t if people dislike it or not. When I smoked, I smoked on stream as well if I was located somewhere I could smoke inside. If anyone is going to judge me as a person because of that, then I don't want those people as an audience anyway.

EDIT: Didn't smoke on YT videos, though. Won't vape on my new videos either.

Smoking is what you come into contact daily. I feel most kids that come from a non smoking home (parents / guardians / immediate family) that do not smoke won't be tempted to smoke themselves even if they see it in a video. There is a guy on YouTube by the name of shoenice that drinks alcoholic beverages (and sometimes food) in a very unusual way. He pretty much chugs everything. For people of age that is just stupid, but young kids might think it's cool.

Still, YouTube allows his videos, so it's ok. And he might have age settings on his videos, I don't know.

When people smoke, the smoke ALWAYS travels to where I'm sitting.
I'm sure the smoke would somehow go through my computer screen and into my nose, and making me allergic.

Hahaha! I honestly dislike smoking. And even vaping I am not a fan of. Even though it is odorless, the smoke still contains elements I do not want myself, let alone my kids, breathe in.

Doesn't bother me one bit, if they smoke they smoke its their life choice and well yeah I see no problem with it really and doesnt effect how I see them
