Hello- I'm wondering if someone has encountered this issue with YouTube subtitles: when uploading an XML file, all the subtitles that are longer than a few words appear left-justified. I am using XML instead of the standard SRT format because XML allows for formatting and positioning.
Despite tinkering with all the settings in the XML file and the subtitle editor program I use (Subtitle Edit), the captions still appear to the left on the YouTube (even though they are aligned with the "bottom center" tag in the XML file).
Anyone encounter this issue? Is it a bug with YouTube, or am I missing something in my file/YouTube settings? Thank you!
