Youtube Channel Idea, Responses?

Hey Everybody

I've had an idea for a channel for quite a while now and i have decided that after time thinking it over, that I'm ready to get a response for fellow You Tubers and regular viewers.

I want to create a Football/Soccer boot review channel where i will review many kinds of boots talk about their pro's and con's whilst trying them out on the pitch in the same video. I know this is done but i want to make this channel about the viewers. Lets call this a Q&A boots review with testing. When i check popular boot review channels, they reply to the users via the YT comments. I want the viewers to be involved as much as possible by using social networking.

This means that the viewers can choose the boots to review and ask the questions that may be stopping you choosing between two models.

I know YouTube is not for making a profit, all i want to know before i take the next step is to ask for feedback whether its reasonable to start some form of kick starter as boots are not the cheapest to buy and if there are any things to add that would make you guys watch it.

It's quite specific. Maybe include all sorts of trainers and sport shoes. Running shoes etc. There are lots of "sneaker heads" out there.
 
I dont think you will get much from a kickstarter for a YouTube Channel... The channel idea itself sounds pretty good, but as you said its also quite expensive.
 
Or you could be rather sneaky. Go and buy the shoes, take them home and do the review. Then take them back and get a refund the same day. Just don't keep doing it to the same shop. It would get you started. And if you got a big following companies may even send you shoes to review.
 
Thanks for the quick feedback, every boots brand possible, all the main one like nike, adidas but also little gems like Mizuno and pantafolo.

I will start with Boots, then see how the progression goes, then maybe start testing futsal shoes etc.

Yeah, i had a feeling that the kickstarter thing wouldnt work, but im prepared to make it work without.

Thats what i was thinking, buying the boots, reviewing then taking them back or selling them.

hahahahah nice idea, Or he may borrow shoes from his friends and make reviews on it LOLXxxx
