Your YouTube "trailer"

Since YouTube switched to this new layout, there's an option to "upload a trailer" which is basically just like uploading a "featured video" in the old layout. However, I was wondering if people actually do upload a "trailer" type video in that spot. I just made a montage style video to show non-subs the best moments of my channel. So what do you use as your "YouTube trailer"?

I did the same, I just put highlights from what I usually show. It is totally random but shows the extent that my channel goes to all within 59 seconds. Take a look if you want to see what I mean by random.... but it basically sums up exactly what you may find most of the time on my channel[DOUBLEPOST=1369025695,1369025658][/DOUBLEPOST]

BTW, if you are putting highlights, make sure it's the cool parts

I used the video in my description. A trailer idea I came up with and liked the results =)

My trailer is a dedicated trailer video, which is basically a montage of clips from my earlier videos. I'm pretty happy with it, although I would like to make a new one at some point soon to incorporate some newer things and to match my branding a bit :)

I use a montage video using clips from some of my previous videos, showing what my channel is about.
Add a catchy beat to the video, and voila, you have a trailer!
Mine is live on my channel at the moment if you want any ideas etc........ ;)

Seems like we have a good amount of variety in trailers. I like it! My personal favorite is the montage/highlight style because it's a quick and fun way to show non-subs what your channel is all about and what they can expect to see in your regular full-length vids. :)

I would make a montage of some of the best clips in a short minute or so video, but I suck at editing. So my trailer is always my newest video.
