When the YouTube Layout Goes Live

I've received word that the new channel layout is expected to be opt-in at the end of this month or early March. If you choose to not opt-in right away, you will have a couple months before you will be forced to switch to the new layout. So I guess we're gonna have to deal with all the hold-outs complaining for months. I'm going to switch at least my main channel right away since I've already made a banner for it, but I'll wait till I do the same for my other channels.

Hoping to have the main channel switched over this weekend (whitelisted today, 24 hours before it takes effect), but won't go live until it's perfect. Arranging the order of videos on the shelves is kind of a pain because it involves the order it was added to a playlist or had a particular tag applied to it.

I'll likely do the same. I'm sure it won't be that much of a drastic change
