What's going on with the subscriber count drop in the last week?

I'm in a discord server with a bunch of other large youtubers in my niche, and we've all noticed a huge drop in the daily subscriber count for the last week or so. Any others in different niches experiencing this? And is there any word on what the cause is? Thanks.
