What should I do for my channel anniversary? What did you do?

I know I've been posting a lot today so sorry if you've seen me around a lot :P

My channel anniversary (channelversary) is coming up on Dec. 30 th. I want to do something really epic and big for it, not just standing in front of a camera talking. I have a vlog-style channel. If you've had your channel for a year, what did you do and do you have any ideas on what I could do?

A channelversary - now that's a good idea. These ideas are probably rubbish but you could maybe learn a magic trick or a party trick and feature it, then afterwards, show the making of. Or maybe a bit less "showbiz" but bake a cake with the number 1 on it, with candles. Is there something you could give away? and announce the anniversary this week and get viewers to do something to get a birthday cupcake or something....

I did a vlog dedicated to it, recapped what happened in the previous year and what I got planned for the next. I don't know if I'll do the same for the upcoming one (Mid 2015, ways away).

I do think you need to let your viewers know. It is a huge plus if you where active for a year. Many don't even make it that far.

Make a best of? Do a Question and Answer. That's basically what I do whenever I have something to celebrate. ;)

I agree with @MrMauriceTL something like a highlights video (maybe a top ten) or a q&a could be good. All I did was make a Facebook post for FlashbackFriday sharing my first video from a year ago. If you follow @Natasha Morgan's tip about a magic trick I know a magician *wink**wink*.

Why not do a 'best of' yourself? May sound a little cocky but go over your favourite videos that you've made over the last year.
