Whoa...this is an eye opener.100k is a good starting point. It helps get you in the door and allows you to work with larger channels. I can say that at 50k, there aren't that many doors opening. We have to work really hard to find those collaborations and we don't get invited to any big YouTube events unless we beg.
250k is probably a more accurate number. At that point, you will get invited to speak at youtube's meetups and it's also likely that someone will pay your way if you attend large gatherings like Vidcon, Playlist live or Summer in the City.
As far as how networks see you, 100k is the upper tier for subscribers, but they also focus on view count. 1 million per month is the entry level for getting a good deal and 3 million per month will get you a max deal with large networks if you know how to negotiate.
