What Are Good Games To Make A Video On?

Hello,

I currently run a gaming channel and I am not very picky with my games, I practically play everything I can find. What do you find good games to make videos on? I personally liked Stranded Deep a lot and it got me some great footage.

I would say just do what you think is right and make a core few games that your channel is based around and from that build outwards.

Thanks both of you! First off, I am sorry that I posted this in the wrong section.

I never made a core to my channel, I just did whatever I thought felt good and fun. :) Thanks for the advice!

Games that can be easily split into 15-20 minute chunks, games that aren't TOO difficult and require a lot of focus, games that aren't TOO story based and force you to read a lot of on-screen text.

Basically they need to be such that you can play them while splitting attention and that the episodes aren't huge. I know that's vague, but look at ALL GAMES and think with that in mind.

I like making hour long videos of you a sleep in rust, through the cracks in our bedroom wall and post it on my channel, I'm about to start a series called Dutch locked in his room...

That were some very nice tips indeed. I often make my videos around 8-12 minutes long. I tried story based games before, but they just wouldn't work out which made me quit the series after 1-2 episodes.

I agree with Brandon, find some games that people haven't play yet. I know it's kinda hard, but I think it depends on your personality on video.

If you like to play around, making jokes, then I suggest you play silly, random games. You can also try to play rage games, like Impossible Platformer, Unfair Mario, and many others.

I know not many people like this game, but I think Minecraft is a great game to play. It is a sandbox type of game, which means the only limit is your imagination. But playing games like that requires a good skill of commentary (but I believe you can do it!).

You can also play games that are popular at the market, make a playthrough and reviews about it. People tend to watch the playthrough or reviews before they buy the games for themselves.

Have a great day! ;)
