What’s one thing you’d like to change about your channel?

There's one thing! only one thing that I don't like about my channel is the audio quality, I would LOVE to change it to something that doesn't rape your ears. but first I need to get a better mic lol
 
Honestly, I'd change so much... But mostly things that I can actually do but I'm too worried or insecure, or not motivated enough to do.
Eg. I'd like to diversify my channel, make more different types of content (since I'm completely stuck in a rutt right now) but I honestly and genuinely don't know what kind of videos to make,
I'd also like to add more comedy to my videos, and have more personal videos... but I feel like, especially on the personal front, you need some kind of following/fans (hate the word fans, but I can't think of a different word right now) that actually care about YOU to make more personal content, and I dont really have anything like that.

The thing I wish I could change, that I don't actually have any control over, is how active I was at the start of my channel...
I started in 2013, and in the two or three years following that I took a couple of breaks, some lasting like a week or two, and some lasting a few months... I didn't regret it at the time, because I figured 'I only have like a few (100, 200, 300) followers right now so it doesn't really matter... but now I'm kind of stuck with a bunch of inactive subscribers (90% of my followers are inactive) which HOPEFULLY won't matter in the long run, but when I put out a 'not very clickable' video (like my most recent) and it barely gets 20 views in the first week, it really doesn't look good for my channel....

I feel like giving up so often, it's not like i'm 'not making enough progress' or 'don't have enough followers', I just feel like... if I stopped making videos, it wouldn't effect anyone... just a thought :P
 
I'd just change my narration pace. On channel I talk much more slowly because I tend to jumble up words when I talk too fast - and only when I'm recording. But oh well, it is what it is. :-)

I feel that. I became inactive for a few months just because life was getting in the way so much. It makes me sad since I know that consistency is key. You got this though! I don’t know much about backing tracks, but I think it’s important that you do things you’re passionate about.

Cyberlink gives a great student discount if you are in school BTW. I always look for discounts and this was the best discount for quality software that I found at the time. I would not be able to afford the Director's Suite unless I got my huge discount so I got a lot more software than I actually needed but still have used.
