Hot Topic View drop on Tuesday 24th January (** all discussion here ONLY **)

STOP saying that the views we lost today were bot views !!! There is a HUGE sticky thread (the first one on this section of yttalk) "Social Blade / YouTube - overreporting views? " were this problem is described.

A few days ago a lot of channels had their view count increased automatically by a YouTube glitch. Now they are taking them back. If you check your channel views on Social Blade you'll see a spike in views from 01/14/2017 to 01/17/2017.

Hello can anyone explain why I had 532 views now it's around 478? I've uploaded videos since so I'm at a total loss?

Maybe it is taking away fake or botted views as well. that is a possibility.

Lol it was never real in the first place~ Because of the sudden boost glitch, I was expecting this to happen eventually.

I had it happen yesterday. I was 148 views from 20,000 before I when to bed. I even have pics perfect of the drop. I was thinking when I got back on my channel to do some work I would be there now Im over a 1000 from there. This makes me so mad but now I know Im not by myself.

I lost 7500 from total views but the individual videos didn't change. Strange
