"Use Old Embed Code" disappearing

I embed videos into my web sites using Mozilla KompoZer. It's a great html editor but cannot handle frames. I get around that by always selecting "Use old embed code". Now that option seems to be disappearing. I just uploaded a video and it was not there. I deleted that, then uploaded exactly the same video again. This time the old embed code was offered. I successfully used it to post a video, but then when I went back to the video, the option had disappeared again. What gives? This must surely be a glitch as opposed to something deliberate. I hope they fix it because it makes video life very difficult.

I have refreshed, cleared cache, viewed in Firefox and IE, all to no avail.
