Figure out a way to record without frying your sensors. I've heard of people damaging their cameras trying to film the sun

I've seen someone point a telescope at the sun and then held a poster board about a foot or two away from the eye piece. Just looking at the poster board you can get a good view of the sun with out frying your eyes. I don't remember if they had any filters on the telescope. I do remember being able to see little flares off the surface of the sun.
