Sort Of Documentary About Autism

I've Got It
This is just a thread I've decided to create hoping to get some feedback on a series I'll be starting on the 1st of January.

I currently have three channels you see, one devoted to gaming, another music and another which used to be devoted solely on the writing I do. I have changed this third channel from a sort of vlogging about my writing to wanting to a documentary type of channel. What will I be documenting? I'll basically be documenting autism and how it effects people daily. Either be it a good way or bad way. I personally have autism and was diagnosed quite late on in life. I was 13. Most people get diagnosed when 3-5. I struggled and personally 2014 has been the worse year of my life. A lot of my close family members passed away and other things happened causing stress. Though past couple of months I found myself growing up you could say.

Haha, basically long story cut short I'm going to be doing a video each day or each week. Depending on how much spare time I can do. Of me talking to my PC with my really bad webcam. I'll talk about various topics to do with autism and hopefully through the year get support in helping autism become more well known. Here in the UK, I find the government almost leaves you for dead when you turn 18/19. I'm currently 18 coming up to 19 in two months and I've had little or no help at all since legally becoming an adult.

Cut short again, I'm hoping to raise awareness for autism, get charities involved, and multiple other things. For in the hope one day that people with autism get their proper services that they need in later life. You have to normally rely on charities you see. Unfortunately they can't do everything they want to. Also possibly also letting people relate to me in videos as I personally am not afraid to go deep into topics that have hurt me though made me grow.

Basically this a series I'm doing called 2015 - Year of Autism. And through this I'll hope to help others and possibly myself as well.

So was just wondering what others would personally think about it and all.

Thanks for reading this massive text, haha.

I think this is a great idea and people will watch because autism is still such a huge issue when it comes to how people perceive those who are diagnosed. If you don't have enough time to continuously post then you should film each day and edit it to be a full video at the end of the week. I do hope this takes of and if I can be of any help somehow I would gladly oblige. Good luck with this project and hope to see it soon!

Sounds like an absolutely wonderful idea. It'll be such a great view into what autism is actually like and how it affects people, something that most people won't ever experience. I think it's really important to just see and step into the shoes of someone else so this can be really educational. I'm sorry about everything's that happened to you, but I really do hope that this can help you and that next year is much better. Greatest of luck to you and your channel.

This is definitely a great idea! I personally would love to be more aware on what autism is, and what effects it can have on people!
