Should I make a separate gaming channel?

My channel is mainly vlogs, tag videos, ya know, that kind of channel. Recently I've been putting up LPs of the Sims, but I don't want to overload my channel with more than one niche and overload my subscribers with videos they don't really care about.

Should I make another one? I don't really mind having to promote two channels, seeing how my gaming channel (should I make it) won't be my primary channel.

Thoughts? Experiences? I want to hear them all!
Thank you!

its completely up to you i had 2 channels it worked fine but i then combined them and have had abit more success but try the 2 channels if you want

Meh I think it could work on one channel if you want. Its your channel, and you can express yourself on it however you like. Sometimes its cool to see channels that do a variety of things. :)

If you're uploading a lot of game videos it may be better to make another channel for it so that you don't spam your subscribers sub boxes which could drive them away. Do it, then see how it goes and you can always change to make it better and so on.

I probably would just in case you get copyright strikes from the games. You don't want to mess up your main channel with that. Just my thoughts.I'm still pretty green so I'm might be wrong. :)

IMO keep it at one, until you get a considerably large fan base, around 1000 subscribers. Just keep growing your main channel until then, more genres = more fans. Having 2 will just get more confusing and will seem unnecessary.

If you plan on doing a lot of both, then it'll probably be better to make 2 separate channels. If it's just mostly one and a bit of the other, you can have them both in one channel. You could just put a link to your other channel in your video descriptions, and if people are interested in your other channel, they will know about it.

It's better to do it on one channel when you're small, maybe when you have a larger following split into two channels

You do know that if you have multiple youtube accounts they can all be removed just by getting three copyright strikes???
