Script writing?

Hey there everyone :)

If you saw my previous post in this forum you'll know I'm making a short horror movie. I was wondering if anyone would be able to come up with any twists or anything? Basically plot goes as follows: Group of teens summon the midnight man (search it if you don't know) and they play the game. One by one their candle goes out and they die. I really want to add a twist to the ending that no one saw coming, such as the main, shy girl being the killer instead of an actual demon or something but I don't want to be too generic. So any ideas on plot twists? Or any ideas for any other little horror shorts I could do?

i dno if you were planning this already, but my favorite plot twist, if you can call it that, in horrors is when no one survives :p other than that the descriptions a bit vague, don't really know enough about the characters to be able to come up with much.
 
It's an interesting urban legend. They have to buy the supplies somewhere, so I would make them be rude to someone while getting the candles and whatnot, perhaps at a convenience store, and let that person be the main suspect. Meanwhile, another group of teens is headed to a more popular party. Perhaps one of the popular girls (a cheerleader) recognized what they were doing and slipped away to take them out, while maintaining somewhat of an alibi with her drunken friends.

Even that sounds cliche. Horror is hard. (Whine)

I like that idea actually! It's just a group of friends, but they are the usual characters kinda thing - the shy virgin one, the popular one, the douchebag one etc. I might take on that shop person idea :) cool thanks!
 
You'd have to make the scene with the shop person really short, but long enough to make the viewers at the end think "Oh yeah that guy" and know why he did it. I love script writing and wish I coulda helped you out a bit, but horror isn't a strong point of mine. Good luck.
