Rubik's Cube Short Film

Which is a better idea for a Rubik's cube short film for my series of animations?

-Person able to change cube into any material.
-What a cube does when its owner leaves.
-Very LARGE (house size) cube outdoors.
-Shape shifting cube

They're all solid ideas, it just depends on where you take the story I guess. I think it would be kind of funny to do "when the owner leaves" and have a guy like super close to finishing the Rubik's cube, but everytime he's about to make the final turn the phone rings, or the doorbell rings, etc. When he returns to the cube it's completely messed up again.
