I noticed my analytics for this game rising recently. Thought I'd share (brag) what a difference a narrowed down search term makes. My video came out in April 2015 so I don't think it's that "new video" boost you normally get.

Nice, though I don't see in his title, description, or tags where he has "part 1" anywhere, so that's probably why. Though it doesn't explain why you beat the other ones below his that have lots of views, are about the same age as yours, and do say "part 1". Congratulations on that!

Yeah I assume it's the other metrics involved such as watch time, view count, shares, etc. as to why Mark is even in those results. Haha I honestly didn't even look even further down the list until now.

I'm the #2 search result for "Bewilder House gameplay" Actually 4 out of 5 part of my series is on the first page for that term.

Thats awesome to see that your beating a top YouTube in the search results. it goes to show what correct titling, tags and attractive art can do. I know I would much rather select your video more than Markiplier simply from its visuals without even clicking yet. Your is simple clearly states who it is, what game it is, and what episode compared to Markiplier who simply has a stock image and a poor title.

Markiplier is who he is and should have no problem with views which is why he probably didn't bother with it.

Heh it's interesting since I grew tired of that format of thumbnail and have been experimenting with different formats. Yeah I noticed a lot of people used a generic stock images. 9/10 times I won't use a stock image for that reason.
