Old or New:Gaming

If a Youtuber was planning to LP a game in your opinion, Would you prefer to see a New just released game or an old classic?
 
Hmmmm.
What about a middle ground?
Something that is really good, but not really old.
Maybe something on the PS2 or Xbox or something along the lines of that.
If I had to choose, I'd choose old.
 
I'd say either new releases or old but still highly popular games. Pulling off an old classic LP series would be difficult I think personally

I've moved this to Scripts, Script Writing, Video Ideas and Planning.

And honestly I'd prefer an older game more than anything. I agree that middle ground would be best though. An Atari game for instance wouldn't interest me very much but freakin' Tofu from Resident Evil 2 has peaked me interest, so something along those lines. PS1-2 ish times.
 
It's the age-old answer: doesn't matter. There are pros and cons to both. Older games are not done as much, but they don't get a lot of traffic. Newer games are usually done to death, but they get searched a lot more. Middle ground takes a little bit of both of these benefits (and problems). So nothing really is better than something else, unless you can magically find a popular game, old or new, that nobody has done.

Basically, just do the type of game you most like. Some YouTubers capitalize on doing newer games because they're into that stuff; some do classic games because they enjoy that; some do Nintendo, some only do Sony...you get the idea.
