LOL! The intro made me laugh for sure! I liked that 
Also, I liked how you referenced today's pop culture into your talk about the stories in the bible. It made me want to watch/learn the whole thing, even though, I mean, I'm not over-the-top religious, I have my beliefs and whatnot, I follow the ten commandments because they just make sense but I'm not going to go on from there (Religion is a sensitive topic afterall ), but I sat here and watched and enjoyed.
Umm.. as someone who doesn't care to be preached to (Again, don't get me wrong! I don't have anything against any religion at all!) when you say "pause to read ____", Maybe you can elaborate on the story that's relevant to your topic at first from the bible, and then say towards the end, "If you wanna read in depth for yourself, pause now and review _____." Or "Thanks for watching, I'd be super grateful if you went ahead and read passage ____ through___." Personally I hate when YouTubers tell me to pause, rewind or fast forward through videos, mid video. I'd rather have the option available to me at the end
But your intro was amazing! I really enjoyed it and liked hearing the story from the bible told from you. And you really hooked me by relating your story from the bible to something that people can relate to in today's day and age! (Also, I liked how you brought your poll options into a humorous light) Perhaps you can keep making the links between the passages, to the pop culture or today's day and age reference and so on as you progress through the story. I found I was a little interested on how maybe Peter was like Taylor, or Kanye in your reference just because, for people who would be joining you new, and young, they might like how the bible stories play an impacting role on the things they are exposed to day in and day out. When that didn't happen I started to get a little bored here and there (As someone who would classify herself as a not-over-the-top-religious person). Now, like I said, I have my beliefs and not someone who likes to be preached to. So if I'm not one of your target audience, since that's who you want to watch your videos, you can disregard what I'm saying

What a great and helpful review! Thanks a ton for taking the time to look and offer such well-put-together thoughts. I hadn't thought about approaching the pause and read part differently, but maybe I should. The reason I do it that way is so that people don't have to listen to me read a whole big thing at once, but that might not be the best way. An annotation may be good to try out for sure Not sure if this is something you would want to do either, but you could also make another set of videos that the annotation can take people to where you would read them the passages from the bible you'd want referenced. But that's more work for you in the end/ you don't have to do that
