New YouTube Monetization Method

Hey everyone,

I know theres been a lot of discussion over the blog post made on the official YouTube blog but I am really confused by something.

Using the YTtalkTV channel account I signed into YouTube, went to settings then Monetisation, I then clicked Monetise and check everything, next thing I know all the videos are set to show ads but there isnt an Adsense account attached to the Google account so I dont understand who is making money here? Does YouTube pay people directly now since I never needed an Adsense to monetise? What on earth is going on there, I really dont understand it one bit.

Any ideas? Thoughts?

I have an Youtube account that was linked with Adsense, but I never enabled monetization on it before this new update.
It got disabled but I still signed up for monetization for my videos. I don't get how we would get paid either.

Thats what I dont get at all, no payment details entered, I wonder if they would have issues if this whole time only they were being paid.
 
The otha day I sent them a message sayin "i want mo' monay" and they said "are you canadian?" I said "yes I am, now give me monay" And they said "where will we get this monay?" I said "I don't know, gimme somma that internet monay" They said "ok" That's what it is Michael.
 
Before they made a blog post about the changes...I find it funny that at one point I monetized my video's without having an ad-sense account either...Now I have one but..before i didn't..yet they said it was monetized...I'm not sure who get's paid...so weird.
