New Youtube Layout. More views. Less subs

First thing I notice about the new youtube layout is that my videos are popping up more around youtube. All the hundreds of hours I've spent on SEO optimization is paying off.

Second thing I notice about the new youtube layout is less new subscribers. Subscribe annotations don't work like they used to. They don't send you to a page with a sub button on it anymore.
They've moved the sub button to a discreet location that doesn't stand out like it used to...

Since I'm getting more views from the search engine and youtube's suggested videos I'm adding more annotations that link to other videos and making them more attractive looking :)
 
ah i just noticed the subscribe button is now below the video. the new layout annoys me because i dont like how im getting recommended videos within my feed. i like my feed to be new uploads only, and recommended videos on the side.

You can edit that!
click on 'manage subscriptions' at the bottom of the left hand column
In the drop down menu click on "all"
Then in the "actions" drop down menu click on "show uploads only in feed"

But keep this quiet. This is secret tech. I'm getting tons of views because my vids are showing up in peoples feeds ;)

yeah im doing that, thanks. i only find im getting recommended videos from ppl whos videos ive already watched though. and i dont like how its within the feed cause then i have to look "oh is this new or is it old, have i seen this already?" i liked having different ppls videos recommended to me on the side, but u still get that when u are watching someones videos.

yea that is a serious pain lol having to click through 2 different screens from the homepage just to view new uploads only. :([DOUBLEPOST=1354895116,1354894997][/DOUBLEPOST]

not having the recommended videos on the side, they just show recommended channels which already have thousands of subscribers anyway. youd have to be already watching someones video in order to see recommended videos by other people.

whats SEO optimization?
 
I hate the layout. I just got used to the old one and now everything is different. The video banner is gone which I worked on prety long. Also don't noticed a really boos in my views so let's hope the people still able to find my videos.
