There is no point. It looks like part of the checklist from the new layout that is on the upper right when you are in the video manager. You probably weren't meant to see that stuff until you opt in to the new layout.

If you channel is not whitelisted, you won't have access to the new layout.

What does white listed mean?

It's the term their developers use for channels that are cleared to use the new layout. Adding your YouTube ID to the list gives you access.

I got an invite to go into the office and test it out and then they offered to let me have it early
