New Channel Layout Q&A

Apart from gaming channels, from what i`ve heard from a news source though YouTube are coming up with a new feature for partners :)
We also still get shows and full livestreaming and most likely higher pay..

Don't get me wrong the protection from adsense is the MAIN reason I became a partner...but they have literally taken every cosmetic feature that partners had and threw it away. It's such f*****g b******t.

Less than 10% of our total views in the last 30 days came from our channel page, so it's highly unlikely (at least for us) that the lack of branding is going to affect us in any way.

That's not the point though dude. It was the extra perks like that that made becoming a partner exciting. Them stripping it down to this ugly a** white looking thing...now all the channels are going to look exactly the same besides the one single banner. Just a terrible decision by YouTube imo.

The perks weren't that exciting to me, so I'm not going to miss them-probably because we got in through the old partner program and had to have a ton of subs/views before we got accepted, so the banner/background never really seemed to help us. But I see your point and I know a bunch of people take pride in their channel pages.
 
My question: Is there a workaround to make YouTube show the persons banner without having to disable AdBlock?

I don't need a moral story about why I shouldn't use an Adblock either. ;)

Edit: Seems as if they've already updated this and starting to show them now. Nevermind. Adblock on!
