that`s good in the fact the the old non-channel background were annoying to design... bu bad because there goes another feature for us full partners...
:I just don`t get what goes through Google`s head, they invest close to 1M dollars into Networks over the last 2 years, and then they start getting rid of the benefits.....
 
And in case any of you were wondering why they wanted such a big image for channel art, here is your answer (I just threw in a random pic)

You can always opt out. They're not going to force new new design on you for a few months (probably longer). The rollout this month is to give you a chance to practice with the new layout. If you want to use it, you are free to do so, but you can easily change it back to the current design with the click of a button.

Still all of the non-partner will upgrade for the banner :|
