I'm a big call of duty fan, and video game fan in general.

Theres a huge amount of hype around the game and discussions on new weapons in the game, speculation on future games, updates to the Battle Royale, etc.

I'm sort of torn, because while I recognize that people want to discuss these topics (myself included) I'm not sure how I feel on putting them in video form.

I don't want to diminish the hard work of developers that they spend months/years on. The game files do get datamined, and they even leak/hint at some things themselves ( like in the gameplay trailers for each season ).

What's your opinion on whether or not to make videos on them?

Don't use data mined footage/content? Don't use leaked footage?

I don't know about this datamining thing so I won't comment on that specifically.
Assuming it's legal then why not use it?

But as far as what to talk about - I'd generally prefer to watch a 'no holds barred' approach.

The game companies thrive on publicity and the way I see it:

If their expensive product is good - people deserve to know it's worth the $.

If their expensive product is terrible - people especially deserve to know not to waste their $, and perhaps it'll motivate the companies to fix the issues with the games pre release or with patches.

Good luck with it :)
