Need critique for my YT Graphics plz

Recently I decided to make a channel and a website for an idea that's been swirling in my head, but I'm having some issues with certain aspects.

Currently I've got a logo that most of my friends seem to love and I'll attach that, but I've made some channel art through Canva and it's specifically set to the required size YouTube likes; however, once I upload it it's all whacked up... If possible could someone help me alleviate this issue and also maybe give me some pointers on updating my channel art to pop some more?

To give ya a little background story tho, my channel and website is titled Geek and a Gentleman, but my YouTube channel itself has a subtitle of The Travelogue of one Colby as you'll see in the pictures I'll attach. The first is the logo and the second is my channel art that I'm having issues uploading to proper proportions within YouTube's diameters. Also, my channel will be based on my life and the travels I partake in. The name just came to me because I'm always being called a geek and a gentleman lol4401844019
Please let me know if I'm in the wrong sub-forum. I do apologize if so
