New member here, excuse me if I didn't quite grasp the rules yet, but is it ok if I just share my experience with youtube avatar creation? Used the same for my profile in here, too, by the way!
The website I ended up using is avatarmaker.com - I think it's very basic, but I managed to find a combination that i liked.
I'm in no way associated with that, and just wanted to share a free resource I have used. But again, please let me know if these kinds of posts are not permitted?
Just for good measure I'm including a picture of my avatar and myself for comparison xD

I see no reason in paying a fivver guy to make me a new one if I can get it for free if you know what i mean!! You say that it´s very basic but what do you actually mean by that? Wasn´t the quality good or?
