I've messed with the usual that YouTube likes but still find options limited. I've seen multiple tiny channels using regular tunes and have a link to YouTube music in their descrption but I thought this was still a No No.

I am looking for advice from those of you who have been there/Done that. What are some good resources that are relatively easy to search and use?

I use EpidemicSound for 99% of my music, but I'm with Maker Studios, so I have a free membership with them as a result.

Good YouTube channels are:

Spike's Vibes, OurMusicBox, NoCopyrightSounds, Teknoaxe

Good websites are:
Purple-Planet, Incompetech, Bensound

If you want to know whether it's okay to use a particular song, the best thing you can do is ask. Usually there'll be a disclaimer in the description, but there's absolutely no harm in double-checking! Most artists will appreciate that you're considerate enough to think ahead.

I use Incompetech only for now. You could also find some music on youtube and directly ask the owners whether they have licenses you can purchase or if credits are enough etc.
