I usually put mine for 15 seconds. It's enough time for people to decide Wether to click a video or subscribe and read the info on it.

I have settled for 20 seconds, as it's the maximum lenght of the endscreen links. But anything between 10 to 20 seconds should suffice.

Minimum 10 seconds. If there's an empty space while the video is still running I put it right there for 20, otherwise I make a 10 second background with as many as I can fit. I get the most clicks from the early ones though.

I have mine for 5 seconds. If the ending of the video is longer than 10 seconds, I usually don't watch to the very end and move on to the next video.
