Layoffs Reported At Machinima

The YouTube network Machinima seems to have laid off at least some of their staff. Details are still pouring in, and we'll update this post as we hear more, but we've seen reports on Twitter about layoffs at the large video network.
Editorial manager Billy Shibley tweeted this afternoon that he had been laid off, along with other people there:

I`m currently more then just shocked even it doesn`t concerns me or anyone I know at Machinima or those that are Members of their Networks.

Update:

OK a few of those that I know at Machinima got fired too. Calling it a Day and getting now a Drink.

thats crazy and unfortunate for those people, but makes you think if they largest YouTube Network is struggling will others start having the same problem?

I always thought Machinima would be done for soon. It's just something about them not being interactive enough?
