Is it too late to do a 2014 year-end list?

I really want to do a "Worst/Best hit songs of 2014" but I feel like it's too late to do one, considering that most people that do it have done a list for it. I mean, my channel ideas have fluctuated from what I really want to do, but i feel music critique would be a concrete idea, with maybe gaming in the future. I'm not too sure, but I do eventually want to make SOME sort of content on Youtube. i've wanted to do it for 3 years, but quality is something I'm striving for. I've got some decent quality equipment, but I'm just not sure if I should make a video on my favourite/least-favourite songs. Should I do it? Thanks

I would say that's typically something you release around New-Years :P

Otherwise, if you want to play around with the idea. I guess something that'll help is doing a Top 10 of a different variety. Help you brush up your skills and make something sub-par. Let's face it. You're not going to make the perfect top 10 on your first try.

I would say do something that isn't time dependent. Like "My Top 10 Influences in Music"! or something of the sort. Top 10 MJ songs? I'd be down to watch that.

Just make sure you plan Best/worst of the year videos a few months before it needs to be released :P
