Is "How To..." video still attractive?

Yes, I think so. I'd imagine they'd be really popular, especially if it's a thing that people commonly want to learn how to do, and if you show it better than anyone.

I agree with the earlier commenter: Quality is important. You'll lose credibility quickly if you give advice on things you don't really know anything about, so staying modest and offering quality videos on things you're good at is still the best bet.

i think as long as you do a how to for something relevant and interesting for the general audience you're aiming for you should be fine

Recently, i made "How To..." videos and I want to continue for this type of vids but i am not really sure if this is still attractive. Could you guys just give me some advice or ideas. Thx a lot :)
Hello, I think how to videos are still good but try and make them about videos that haven't been done before or are rare on youtube about. what I've done is made ''how not to'' videos to change it a little to make the ''how to'' a bit more interesting and different than whats already out there, and it seems to be working. so you've got to experiment with your audience to know what they like and don't like.

I think every video is still attractive. Let's face it, there are no original ideas anymore there is only original execution and original personalities. That's you're way in. A thousand different people can do 'How to make a 3-egg omelette' and it will still be a thousand original videos. You have to find you're niche and develop a sort of 'on-screen personality' to set yourself apart from the other billion people uploading the same exact thing. hope this helps :)

Still attractive, but it needs to be GOOD content in my opinion. I am not going to watch a How-To on how to make Breadless Toast.

In most of my videos I use the "How to" template, then subvert expectation to make it comedy. I do this because a lot of the videos I watch on youtube are how to's and they generally have a big following too

"How to" videos are definitely still popular because everyone always wants to learn more - however the issue is that since so many people have made them, a lot of topics have been covered. Maybe go with a comedic approach? That's fun.

"How to" channels are very popular, particularly with a niche group of viewers interested in "the subject".

I have a how to channel and it's going well, great viewer interaction - (some) people like to learn.

Make the content interesting, deal with subjects others ignore, always respond to comments, and it becomes a community affair.

Also, it's enjoyable passing on information to others - we all have to learn somewhere.

Do a good job, know your subject, and you will build a fan base.

I even put up videos where I fail, and viewers like those too, it shows we are all human.

You can learn from mistakes, as well as from success.
