If i delete my channel can I get my username back?

I have channel and I need to delete because I have a problem with it... so, if i deleting my channel can I get my URL user again
Like (youtube/c/MaathHarris)

I'd say not. I think they don't free up channel names. Why delete if you want the same name again?
