How to Get the new layout?

Everybody has been saying how bad and terrible the new layout is and I decided to try it out for myself and make my own opinion on how the new layout is by a YouTube channel owner point of view. So how do I get it?

I think it just comes over time. I think it's gonna be a bit more clean however it might be good. There's no point in fighting it, Google doesn't listen

Yeah but how did the other channels get it early?

Hm....thats kind of confusing. I think if you request it somehow they'll give it to you. I thought only popular channels get it early like IJustine or something like that. But then Smosh didn't have it. I'm pretty sure you have to request it.

The popular channels get a choice. Everybody gets it on the 22nd of this month.

We had to go to youtube and do a beta test in their office to get it. They give you the option at the end of the session to have it available for your channel.

I was told by the end of February it will be rolled out to everyone but that's not official or anything.
