How many Jump cuts are too many jump cuts?

Alright, so, I use my fair share of jump cuts in my videos I'll admit, but how man are too much? Or like how often is too much? And also are jump cuts necessary for a good video?
 
depends on the game actually i use them to cut out dead space in videos (not a pun on my current lets play lol) but in AAA game lets plays, jump cuts don't need to be used a lot compared to vlogs or indie games. what kind of videos do you do?[DOUBLEPOST=1467673982,1467673785][/DOUBLEPOST]i just watched a view of your videos. your jump cuts are perfect! for the type of videos your doing jump cuts definitely add to the humor
 
Well I do like comedy vlogs but I was wondering when its useful to use it and when it might be annoying?
 
Depends on the video, game and etc. You should want to remove dead weight from your videos AKA boring parts, unless its a gameplay video or a lets play video. So having many jump cuts is not bad as long as the content in the video is represented good and you show the jokes and the video is fun to watch and entertaining.
 
Alright, yea, it seems like jump cuts are important and necessary but you have to do it with moderation in a way that's productive! Off to make a new video lol!
