How long does it take for monetization to get approved?

Hey all, wondering if anyone has some insite what they look for during the monetize state? I dont have any copyright notices and its been about 2 weeks since I hit 1,000 subs. Not sure why it takes so long. Is there anything else i should know about on what they check?

They say on the monetization page that it takes a month. If it takes longer, then it is typically because your site is "borderline" and they need more time/staff to take a look.

yeah my watch time is way passed minimum needed. jeeze couple of days. makes me wonder what is going on why it is taking my channel a while.

one thing I am thinking of as well. I thought it was mostly an automated thing to approve. well hopefully it is that. One thing im wondering about is the songs I use. I did buy a license off of artlist.io to use any songs i want

Its mostly NOT automated. Thorough human reviews are done to make sure content is in compliance.
