Hey everyone,

I just wanted to show you a quick little trick i used this past summer. I had the opportunity to film one of my favorite hip hop artists "Atmosphere" at the Center of Gravity Beach Festival in my home town. Knowing I would probably never get this chance again, or would ever get the chance to film a music video for them, I took the opportunity to make one out of the live show.

What i did was picked on of the songs he was performing, and made sure to film the whole thing (nothing in slow motion) then for the rest of his set on stage, i filmed slow motion, different normal speed angles and b roll shots etc, When I then later brought the footage into post, I downloaded the track, overlaid all the shots of him rapping that song, then put the B-Roll over top of everything to try and make a music video :) a few edits later and this is what i came up with!

Let me know what you think, and if you have any tips and tricks to go along with filming music performances or music videos!
