How effective are "first impressions" videos at getting views for a gaming channel?

If I'm looking for filler content in between my main series, are first impressions videos a good way to create one-off video content that will actually get a decent amount of views?

My advice is don’t waste your time with filler. Go for a home run every time. Don’t worry about “staying active” each video is treated on an individual basis. All you’ll end up with from filler videos is half watched stuff leaving a poor impression while you spent valuable time making it
