How Do You Guys Come Up With Fresh Material?

because I know anyone can make a "s**t my dad says video" but it wouldn't be the same from two different YouTubers yet people think the 'big' youtubers own all the ideas when they don't, you just can't deliberately copy someone elses work I know that.

It's almost impossible to do something that isn't somewhat derived from something else. If I do something that has been done, I try to add elements that make it better. Having unique dogs is a way to freshen up a video that has possibly been done because the different dogs add new personality. My most viewed video is something not many people get to see, it's a 20mm gatling gun shooting down a drone missile and the view is about 15 feet away. If I had the cameras I do now I guarantee I'd have millions of views on that video... I have two angles of the shot and one is in 144p and the other is in 240p. I only wish I had my GoPro cameras for that shot, I would have mounted one on the gun itself and one in front of the gun where no sane person would stand.
 
Yeah it's all about how you execute your videos and also about the content, but even where 2 people use the same content, 2 people will not use the same execution.
