Help with design and branding?

Okay, so I'm new ish to this but I've decided it's time I need to focus way more on my channel branding! can anyone give me a hand in what they think would work best for me?

Someone mentioned I should use my surname 'Kinghorn' in a lot more of my stuff because they thought it was cool and stood out?

I'm actually not really sure how far branding goes really? If anyone can shed some light I'll be grateful
